ABOUT US

Nesting for a Greener Tomorrow

Imagine a world where every choice you make for your home is a step toward a more sustainable future. At Ugobel, we're turning that vision into a reality.

Just like a bird meticulously crafts its nest with sustainable materials, we are dedicated to making home setup a sustainable and comfortable experience. Our story is built on the analogy of a bird and its nest, where every choice matters. In nature, birds use branches, leaves, and other eco-friendly materials to create a safe haven for their families. By choosing Ugobel, you're not just furnishing your home; you're participating in a movement that combats waste and promotes responsible living.

Ugobel, headquartered in Essen, Germany, is founded by Jaffrey Immanuel, an international student who experienced firsthand the challenges of moving to new accommodations and the importance of sustainability in furnishing them. His journey living in various student hostels across different cities fueled his vision to provide a sustainable solution for setting up homes.

We envision our mission unfolding in two distinct phases. Currently, we are in the first phase, where we focus on sustainability through a circular economy model. This involves repurposing and reusing home articles to minimize waste and environmental impact. In our next project phase, we aim to achieve sustainability by sourcing locally produced articles, further reducing our ecological footprint and supporting local communities.
